These terms govern your use of The Perfect Gift. By using the app you accept them; if you don’t agree, please don’t use it. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Who provides the service
The Perfect Gift is provided by the developer listed on the app’s page on the App Store and Google Play (“we” or “us” in these terms). You can contact us at [email protected].
What the app does
The Perfect Gift helps you remember the people and dates that matter and find gift ideas, including with artificial intelligence, based on the information you enter.
Ideas are suggestions: the final choice, the purchase and checking the product are up to you.
AI-generated ideas
Ideas are generated automatically by an artificial intelligence model (Anthropic’s Claude) and from a selection of suggestions curated by us. They may be inaccurate, no longer available or not right for the person or the occasion.
Before buying, always check the description, price, availability, recommended age and safety warnings on the seller’s website, especially for gifts for children or related to health, food or sports.
Prices, availability and shops
Prices, availability, delivery times and links can change at any time, and the price shown in the app may be an estimate: the price shown by the shop at the time of purchase is the one that counts.
Purchases take place on the shops’ websites (for example Amazon) and are governed by their terms. We are not a party to the purchase contract: for products, deliveries, returns and warranties, please contact the seller.
Affiliate links
Some Amazon links are affiliate links: if you buy after opening them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The app shows when a link is an affiliate link, and commissions don’t influence the ideas we suggest.

We don’t present paid content as advice: any sponsored content is always marked as such.
Account
An account is optional: without one the app works and your data stays on your device. With an account you turn on cloud backup and get the AI searches included in the free plan.
Without an account you can try a limited number of AI searches with an anonymous session.
You must provide a valid email address and you are responsible for access to your email and your device. You can delete your account at any time from the “You” tab.
Premium and payments
The app can be used for free. Some features are paid (Premium) and can be bought as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically, or with a one-time payment. Price, duration and content are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. The subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel in time.
Refunds and withdrawal rights follow the rules of Apple or Google, which sell in-app purchases, and the consumer protection laws of your country.
Even with Premium, AI searches have a monthly limit, shown in the app, to ensure fair use of the service.
Acceptable use
Use the app only for personal, lawful purposes. Don’t enter unnecessary sensitive data or information about other people without a legitimate reason.
Don’t try to get around limits (for example by creating sessions or accounts in bulk), security or sign-in systems, to access other people’s data, or to extract the app’s content and results automatically.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, design and texts belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app on your devices for non-commercial purposes.
The data you enter remains yours: we only use it to make the app work for you, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies.
Availability of the service
We do our best to keep the app working well, but some features depend on third-party services (AI, product search, app stores) and may be temporarily unavailable. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including for technical or security reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those required by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for damages arising from purchases from third-party shops, from the content of external websites or from the use of the suggested ideas.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law, or our liability for intent, gross negligence or any other case where the law does not allow it to be excluded.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from the “You” tab. We may suspend or close access to the online services in case of serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or to protect the service and other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app’s features or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version; for significant changes we will let you know appropriately, for example in the app. If you don’t agree with the changes, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings before the courts where you live.
